Elite medical’s directors have been developing hands on scenario based first aid and pre-hospital training for over 20 years, Elite’s training team are made up of some of the most experienced instructors you could wish for, with all of our Pre-hospital courses being Paramedic lead.
Learner-centred strategy
We adopt a learner centred strategy which provides the student the experience of applying the training, sharing and analysing their experience with other students to enable them to generalise the principles and plan the application of the training in their work.
Methods used to teach the courses are inclusive and ensure that we meet the needs of the learner. Each learner is treated individually to help us understand their specific needs which will then be incorporated into the teaching method employed.
First aid requirements
Having the correct first aid provision in your workplace is not only a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of you and your employees. From October 2009 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) required employers to undertake a first aid training needs assessment.
To assist you in determining the number and level of first aid staff you require you can use our online assessment tool, which is quick and easy to use and will help you to accurately calculate the cover you need in your workplace.
