Secure Patient Transport for patients detained, or liable for detention, under the Mental Health Act 1983 is undertaken in specially designed ambulances, designed to support patients with a variety of presentations, in an environment which is caring, and patient focused. Our specially trained staff are DBS checked, Safeguarding, Prevent and Mental Health Trained.
At Elite Medical we believe that patients experiencing a mental health crisis should be treated with the same high level of care and respect as any other patient.
Our mental health and young person vehicles are designed to ensure privacy and dignity, with no logos, acronyms, or reference to Mental Health or Secure, ensuring that we can support our service users to feel empowered whilst reducing the feeling of stigmatisation.
